A LIST OF "PRHS-PRODUCED" COLLEGIATE WRESTLERS

PRHS Class of 2008.  Kendall began his PRHS wrestling career as a Freshman at 119lbs and ended it at 145 lbs with an astounding 214-8 record.  Kendall was a distingushed PRHS team captain and much admired program mentor.  Kendall placed at the Georgia State Championship Tournament all four years of high school; by taking 2 state championship titles, as well as one state runner up, and one 3rd place state tournament finish. Kendall was ranked in USA Wrestling Magazine during all four years of high school, once, as high as 3rd in the country.  Kendall will always be remembered here at PRHS as an outstanding, dynamic and dedicated athelete, and as someone who contributed very heavily toward getting the PRHS program off to its impressive start.
PRHS Class of 2006. Joseph holds the distinction of "first Peachtree Ridge Lions wrestler to sign with a collegiate wrestling program" after Peachtree Ridge's second season of existence.  Joseph finished his three-year wrestling career with a 110-39 record.  Joseph was a Gwinnett County Honorable Mention selection as a sophomore at 171 pounds and posted a 52-13 record as a junior at both 171 and 189 pounds. He placed sixth at the Gwinnett County tournament as a junior. Joseph completed his Senior season here at Peachtee Ridge with a 47-4 record at 171 and 189 pounds and capped that season off with the Gwinnett County Championship. Joseph was Champion and "Outstanding Wrestler" at the Blackhorse Invitational. The 2006 Region 7AAAAA Champion (his senior year) also lettered in football and was a four-year letterman for the school's Philharmonic Orchestra.
PRHS Class of 2008.  "Sartain" completed his PRHS senior year after amassing an outstanding high school career win-loss record of 173-34 (126 pins), a State Championship title (2007-2008) and a State Runner-Up title (2006-2007).  Andrew's impressive wrestling career here at Peachtree RIdge has inspired and will continue to inspire young Georgia wrestlers for a long time to come.  For a more complete list of "Sartain's" numerous high school wrestling career achievements and accolades, please open document above.  Sartain amassed too many accomplishments too list on a mere webpage!

PRHS Class of 2011.  Mike began his High School wrestling career as a Freshman Varsity Starter at 125lbs and by the end of his High School career, was the team's 215lb light heavyweight!  During his distinguished PRHS wrestling career Mike was a four year letter winner, compiled a 154-35 career scholastic record, went unbeaten at 51-0 as a senior, won the Georgia State Championship Title at 215 pounds and became a High School All-American after placing fifth at the NHSCA Senior Nationals in April 2011.  Along the way, Mike was also a three-time state qualifier, three-time Gwinnett County champion , won the Region 7 5A title as a senior, took home region runner-up honors in both 2009 and 2010, earned All-County Second Team recognition as a sophomore and as a junior, was named to the All-County First Team his senior season, was selected as the Gwinnett Takedown Association's Wrestler of the Year in 2011 and was named to  the Georgia Wrestling Coaches Association 2011 "Dream Team".  After winning every tournament he entered in the 2010-2011 GHSA wrestling season including the State Championship, Mike accepted a spot on Clar Anderson's Division 1 Duke University Blue Devils Wrestling Team.

PRHS Class of 2009.  Sam began his collegiate wrestling career as a red-shrited Freshman at prestigious Rutgers University and  transferrred to UTC in 2010.  During his illustrious PRHS Wrestling career, Sam's senior year record was 46-2. Among Sam's many other high school wrestling accomplishments are, a 2008 State Runner-Up title, 3rd place at the McCallie Invitational in the 2007-08 and  2008-09 seasons, 1st place at the Zac Jarzynca Invitational (2008-09), 1st place at the Gwinnett County Tournament (2009), 1st in Area 7 AAAAA (2009),  1st at Sectionals (2009).  In February 2009, Sam became Ridge Wrestling's fourth State Champion, taking 1st at 189lbs in the 2009 GHSA State Championship Tournament.
